Chameleon help needed

I have a pair of veiled chameleons that are two and a half years old. I keep them in seperate cages but in the same room about 20 feet apart. My female has been displaying turquiose spots and the male's sex organs appear to be fully extended from his body, all the time. they are very red. I moved the female to anothe room completely yesterday but he hasn't changed. I bred them last year and this didn't happen, should I be worried and take him to a vet?
