Baytril via nebulizer....

I have a reticulated python with what appears to be an URI and I was wondering if Baytril has ever been used through a nebulizer by any vets. I thought it would be a better solution as it goes straight to the lungs. I have done a little research and found that some say not to use it in a nebulizer as it destroys tissue. What are your feeling on this?
