Yeah, I've got a rainbow boa that developed an 'occult' burn (her skin started turning white, then black) on her back a few weeks after I got her, and I have NO idea how that happened, but now she's got this awful black spot. I did have her with a heat lamp for a little bit but I still don't see how she burned herself. Maybe yours was climbing and fell?
