tree frog with worms

This is my first posting so hope I do it right. I have a pacific tree frog with what i believe are some form of tape worm. He/she has had them for a long time with no noticable side affects but I want to get rid of them. I first noticed them when he started coughing them up, which happens periodicaly. They are very long and thread like and clear. Does any one have a good suggestion on an over the counter cure?
