The interior of the mouth seems to indicate anemia which most likely is caused by a parasite load. I would have the vet do a fecal analysis & then used either fenbendazole or praziquantal if the test is positive. Also, the shedding problem may indicate dehydration; therefore, you may want to hydrate the lizard in luke-warm water for 20-30 min. periodically; monitor the lizard as you do this & make sure the water does not exceed the should level of the lizard.
