Try cleaning during daytime hours. I am able to reach into my chondro cages wihtout any reaction during the day. Nighttime is a bite waiting to happen. Good luck.

:I just got a gtp and i was wondering the best way to pick him/her up when i clean the cage cause it is mean as it can be striling even when i mist the cage.ive been bitten by him/her like 5 times so i dont mind i just dont want to stress the animal out.I have 4 other snakes so i know how to take care of him/her just want to know the best way to clean the cage. thanks
