Anyone used Big Apple Thermostat or the one from Boaphile?

Has anyone used the thermostat from Big Apple or the one that Boaphiles sells? Are there any other good thermostats out there (other than helix, a little out of my price range...) I'm looking to spend not more than $150.00, and I want it to be able to have a night drop feature
