at best, a generalization. It is just like saying "Well, all biaks are meaner than all arus." Biaks do have a reputation for hissing and striking at almost anything. Someone told me when I got mine I should invest in a sturdy, long hook. There are of course exceptions and total negations of this. My biak is now quite docile other than during shed. Andy
