I've never kept ATBs but I've kept boids for a decade and chondros for the past four years. IMHO chondros are much prettier than ATBs, but they do have very specific requirements (temp gradient, humidity, ventilation, etc.) that you must satisfy in order to be successful with them. If you've kept boids before and you are focused on good husbandry you'll probably be just fine with a chondro. Be *sure* you get a good one because nothing stinks more than a sick chondro--they are somewhat delicate to begin with and don't bounce back from illness like other snakes. I would find a reputable breeder and get a CBB juvie. BTW, they aren't great snakes to handle as they are pretty sedentary to begin with and don't seem to do well with alot of handling.
