Generally in our cities we are seeing a drastic reduction of oxygen content and it keeps falling because of the destruction of the rain forests of the world. The rain forest were these animals come from, no doubt, has an exponentially higher level of oxygen in the air than our captive snake environments. Absorption of oxygen into a living creature's blood is critical to prevention of disease. I'd imagine some of the issues which plague import green tree pythons from bacterial infestation, resulting mainly with URI, are a direct result of immune deficient results from the lack of oxygen when combined with the parasites which the animals would normally exist with functionally in the wild.
:I do believe oxygen is an overlooked husbandry detail which would normally be overlooked, and could be beneficial to care of more sensitive species.

:Just focus at the following. Many soaps make promises for excellent job with the pimples in the face. They have this and that, they offer these and chemistry and blah, blah, blah... but a simple liquid soap with oxygen bubbles just do the trick. What trick?! Simply, dirt goes away with oxygen, not with water. Water rinse off but bacteria remains. In my oppinion, Oxygen is the future solution for the next generation vivariums, paludariums and terrariums with high levels of moist. Xcuse the english. Is my 2nd language.
