I feed my king cobras and kraits an amazing range of stuff too, but of course it's already DEAD and frozen/thawed. You'd have to be a complete idiot to toss a live chondro in with your king! Two expensive snakes tearing each other up....ouch. My kings get fat on the shipments that come in frozen solid on the airline because the shipper didn't pack them properly. It's annoying how often that happens, but it does keep my collection well fed as I can buy the resulting snake-sicles quite cheaply. Most of the mortalities seem to be ball pythons; those shipments tend to come in packed very poorly and I've seen a lot of them end up frozen in transit. My kings have chowed on some pretty pricey stuff on occasion (at least it would have been pricey if it had arrived alive) but the staple seems to be Python regius.

I dunno why they're breeding ball pythons in all them funny colors..piebald, albino, caramel, clown, etc. My king cobra says they all taste the same anyhow. ;)
