My female great plains ratsnake laid 16 eggs on Wed and everything went well, she even fed the next day. The eggs however seem a little unusual and I am a bit worried.
I'm keeping then in small boxes on damp vermiculite which are in turn in a poly box. The box has a heat mat in the lid and a thermostat and the readings show, 82 degrees and moderate-high humidity. I checked on them today ad whilst some are as white as when they first came out, others are going slightly brown and dimpled and a couple even seem to show a little green at either end. Need I worry?
These are my first eggs and I really want to get it right, has anyone got the first hand experience to help me?
Cheers, Chris
