The implication here is that you do object to hybridization when it is uncontrolled, irresponsible, or involves releases into the wild. If my assessment of this implication is correct, you should object to hybridization as it is currently practiced in the herpetocultural world.
In any case, that'd be my stance. Hybridization could be done in a non-objectionable fashion. But it isn't.
