All of my new snakes get panacur, which is probably the safest wormer, for almost all animals. I also try to worm all of my snakes atleast once a year with it, at a lower dosage, as a preventitive measure.

Some people also use flagyl, which is a little less safe. So, ya have to be careful with it. It's been known to cause sterilization in animals, meaning they can't breed. So, it's best to only use this, if a vet recommends it to you.

Droncit is also used by some importers. I believe this is what pro exotics uses for their imported water monitor lizards.

:Does anyone regularly medicate to prevent parasites or any other reasons? If so, what do you do (what medicine and dosage) and what is your prefered method of dosing?
