From my observations many "retarted" individuals are labeled "retarted" because they have an overwhelming amount of intellegence concerning very few things (autistic for example). Perhaps not all men and women classified as "retards" fall under this special circumstance. But, I ask you this. If an autistic man or woman has the incredible ability to play musical instruments without ever beeing taught, or perform unbelievable mathematics problems in their heads, and so many other things I can't possibly immagine. Why does this make them "retards"? Who's to say that the average "satanic" moron is not "retarted"? Who's to say I'm not "retarted"? I don't come close to pulling off some incredible task as some of these gifted people. I believe these people are blessed in some aspect. Sure they have troubles taking care of theirselves, but will the ones that are cared about EVER be alone? Is there a chance you will be? And unlike you they are, rest assured, going to see the creator. Yes, you know the suppreme beeing that gave you the opportunity to care for these beautiful snakes.

Hey why dont you take the time to get to know some of them "retards" you may very well find that they are even more unique than you believe yourself to be.

If in the case your refering to those with Ophidiaphobia (the fear of snakes). The fear of some things is not always a bad thing. Perhaps if they did not fear the snakes they might get bit. Just last month a friend of mine that worked in a zoo found himself in a coma from a king cobra bite. Now what if He had Ophidiaphobia? He would not have been in the possision to be bitten. Or perhaps you would think he was "retarted" for even beeing around such a magnificant animal.
