Use a term such as "retarded" so loosely and then say its keeps your hobby unique.Well unlees you collect people then they arent the ones that make your hobby unique its mother nature that does that you and i are whats left over to help her along.I dont get the reasoning behind such terms of language for anyone.The terminology itself is biased and shouldnt be used at all but it is and will be.I prefer gifted myself and find it as an outrageous insult by anyone that uses the term for anything.It is an insult and always will be an insult to the gifted individuals who cant help how they were born of this inexcusable place we call home.I happen to know a few gifted people myself and have went through heaven and hell to help them anyway possible which includes beating the snot out of anyone who even remotely snickered around them.Ignorant,stupid,or downright crazy is one thing but keep the "retarded" remarks of any kind to yourself.
