To add to this...some LD50 studies have indicated that Hydrodynastes venom is on par for toxicity with Crotalus atrox. The thing about FWCs is that they have much smaller quantities of venom and the delivery mechanism makes it much more difficult for them to deliver a (relatively) large dose to a human handler. That said, if you happen to be one of the people that are hypersensitive to that mix of protiens and enzymes, even a small dose of venom could be a very big problem. Anaphylactic shock can kill you faster than any venom in a non-hypersensitive person.

:Yes they are rear fanged. I do not know Temp and humidity levels as I have not dealt with them. I will as soon as I get my Venomous room complete!(I have a few venomous but nothing I breed) But they have a feeding response like no other snake I now of. These snakes get a smell of food they go nuts. Try the Rear fanged or vonomous forum. There are alot of knowledgable people there. FWC are a good way to start off in vonemous but I always say think before you buy a Venomous snake you never know how you will react to a bite.
