Did you have this snake last spring? My male gopher snake fasts
for 2 months every spring, and if you search old springtime
threads in the bull, corn, and king forums you'll find many
of us are in the same boat. As long as they are actively
searching then they are probably healthy (sick animals are
usually not very active) but very frustrated they can't find a
female! Sometimes they get aggressive too with
a testosterone buildup. Some keepers even consider this a cost
saving period, where you can offer 1 mouse every 10 days, and
if he refuses immediately re-freeze and offer it again 10 days
later and discard if not eaten. After a month or so, you could
try a pinkie to kick start their appetite, live or thawed,
even adult snakes sometimes love these little snacks.
