::Hello,
:: Either one of the 3 you mentioned would be a great second snake... My personal opinion for a snake that is easy to care for and can be handled is a Corn. They do not get to big and are a commonly docile snake. Kings and Milks are also good choices, however from personal experience they tend to be a touch more skittish when younger.
::Either way read the caresheets and info provided on the myriad of websites, kingsnake.com has some great info. Get educated about your next snake and have fun.

::Good Luck in your quest,
::Charles

:::Right now, I have a 6 month old ball python, and i am looking for another snake. The only problem is I dont know what kind to get! I want one that is easy to care for and docile so i can handle it. I've been kind of leaning towards a king, corn, or milk, due to their colors, but i dont know much about them. Can someone please help me and tell me what is best for me?
:::Thanks

People say that milks and cal kings, as well with other kings are skittish and nippy when young. But I dont see why this could really be hard to a beginner. I mean even though yes that can bite and be skittish, remember, they are young. Small teeth, small snake. No harm done to you really. It wont hurt or try to kill you at 3 feet long. I mean you will learn what to do and what not to do with a tiny snake that wont hurt instead of learning with a bigger one that will hurt if you are bit or something else. I mean I got a cal king for a first snake. I never cared for any type or reptile before that. He was skittish and scared a lot. But all you have to be is slow moving, gentle, and everything is fine. I have been bitten my share of times, and even though he can draw blood now at a couple of feet or so, it doesnt hurt. I am still learning a little too.

I wouldnt turn someone away because they can be nippy or somethhing when young, because its not that bad. IMO, it doesnt make them harder to care for.

Just my thoughts,
Matt
