2x4 seems kind of small for a jungle carpet... unless of course its a young one. I personally opt for too much room than not enough for my snakes... I keep my sub-adult/adult corns in 2' tall by 2' deep by 4' wide custom cages that I make myself and they work great... I think the trans pecos would do really well in a cage that size but for an adult jungle carpet I personally would go for a slightly larger cage
