i need some advice. i have 9 snakes. 6 of them are mice eaters. the biggest snakes i have are a Corn snake(50") and a Cali King(48"). last year, a few of my snakes went through a 'spell'. they had been eating frozen/thawed, but now all they're interested in is live. my 2 big snakes are my main concern. i tried live mice, but i have to watch them every second and i know it's not the safest way. lately, i've been giving them rat pups. they seem to be a sufficient meal for the snakes. i usually try to get the ones with their eyes still closed and still nursing from their mother. so far, i've had no problems. they just squeak a lot. i still watch them every second, though, just to be safe. is this okay? has anybody out there tried this before? also, has anybody seen/tried those mouse scent drops? would they work on frozen/thawed? just trying to think of alternatives in case what i'm doing is not okay. i appreciate any help!
thanks!
greg
