I believe Ben Siegel does have them, occasionally. At least I think those were his in the classifieds. Most are wild caught, however, and can be notoriously difficult to get feeding. Also, if not the banded variety, they attain a fairly large size. Also, I do seem to recall someone selling captive born babies on the classifieds for perhaps $150 each. Try a search there, hen check with Siegel. It was definitely an importer who handles the stranger species.

As for care, they are fully aquatic, require water temps from 72 to 78, and a good hiding spot below the surface. Fish are the primary prey.

I have only kept the banded species, Latin names are escaping me at the moment, and while remarkably funky snakes, I had little success with them, and that's been the case with most people I know who've worked with them.

Good luck!
Carl
