Mine is doing fine on a mixture of moss, dirt, and aspen. He has a waterbowl, a very WEAK heat mat, and a large water bowl. I have free ranging ground skinks and earthworms in the tank. I put pinheads every few days for the skinks. The skinks, in turn, become prey to the ringneck snake and every week or two, I restock my tank with skinks. Try frogs and tadpoles as well. Small snakes, salamanders, and pieces of nightcrawlers may work as well even though mine has refused commercially raised worms and only takes ones I caught in my own yard. Andy
