Elaphe rufodorsata - often sold as a rat snake, a garter snake or a water snake. These are aquatic snakes that don't belong in the genus Elaphe (they have been removed, I just don't know the new genus). They will apparently eat fish in captivity, but they don't last very long (like most imported asian snakes).

Rhabdophis sp. - these sometimes show up as chinese garter snakes. They are rear fanged and some species in this genus have been responsible for serious envenomations of humans.

You can probably find pics of both of these species on the net.

I would be very cautious about buying anything that is not identified to genus and species. If they can't tell you exactly what it is, and you aren't sure, why would you take such a risk - particularly for a snake that is probably going to die from parasitic infection and generally overall poor condition anyway.
