I post this every now and again, but I'm still interested in hearing from people that keep / have bred Shovelnose snakes. I've had two western shovelnose for years - hard to come by in New York.... - both probed for sex, and they have never once shown any breeding activity.
I'd love to find some of the tri-colors ones, but in the meantime, I'd like mine to breed. They're doing great on an inch of vermiculite, an undertank Cobra heat pad, and gorging on wax worms, crickets and superworks. So, what's your experience working with these.
