I have used Kaytee and LLLreptiles stuff and the kaytee is by far less dusty. One of the things I have done with success to rid the aspen of dust is to lightly spritz with a spray bottle, it dries fast and the dust is really subdued. I have no problems doing this as I let it dry before placing the snake back in.

::I haven't noticed the shredded aspen to be dusty. Carefresh dries the snake out a bit more, so I guess it depends on the species.
