I prefer Carefresh.... from what I've noticed it's held humidity much better and is more absorbent (which is why I use it for my guinea pigs too). I haven't noticed any real dust from it, but I did when I was using aspen. Also, I had to spray heavily for my ball's first couple sheds, and I noticed mold growing on the aspen (which was quickly cleaned).
