Animalmaniac,
There are so many good names out there. You can use place names; Phoenix, Amarillo, Aspen, Indian Tribal names; Cheyenne, Sioux, Cherokee. Most states have Indian names for lakes and rivers you could use, just look at a state map. You could use foreign words; Azul, Rojo, Maize. There are also some great surnames; Shane, Cassidy, Houdini. If you start thinking about it, I'm sure you will come up with names that will be just right.
