Hi! I started off on a Corn Snake and then bought an Adult Grey Rat Snake.

The temperament was brilliant and as the other poster said, although some have been known to grow to upto 10' in length many dont make it past 6'.

Mine I always found to be an excellent eater.

Texas rat snakes on the other hand I have always found to be a bit edgy and like to strike!
