Great point Lorri! We named our snakes after, 1, shows or movies that we had seen, and 2, due to their "common names", we found a name that seemed right! Our Pueblan milk, Scarlet. (Red) The "Blairs" greybanded, a baby, after a "soap show actor", Starr. Our Dusty hognose, Dusty Rhodes. The Banana Cali, Chiquita, after the... you know. Our Taiwan posed a problem, we just named him TEKO, (technical knock out, we like to watch the fights!) Last, but not least is our Blotched Kingsnake, whom we named Jaffo after a very special person we met on a forum, (which is no longer here.) Oh, and our 20 something Horned frog??? RAMBO of course! That was THE movie at time!
All any of us can suggest is what we can, and in the end, it is your decision! Good luck with naming your new friends, I can give you alot of Greek and Latin names, but it's what's special from the heart that counts.
