Why would you want to give evil sounding names to those poor dear sweet animals? That's like naming a hamster Malador or a guinea pig Black Death. And if you DO get a really evil looking animal, the best thing to do is to give it a cute name, like Buttercup the matamata sideneck turtle.
:My advice, though is if you like mythological names, is to go get a myth encycolpedia and get some ORIGINAL ones ;). Also, try the below link.
