In some colubrids, the male is larger (kingsnakes, ratsnakes, gopher/pinesnakes), while in others the female is larger (gartersnakes, watersnakes). In many cases the difference isn't all that pronounced (a few inches on a 3-4 foot snake) while in others it is profound (a male African House Snake tops out at around 30 inches, females can reach 5 feet).
In boids, males are usually smaller, sometimes much smaller (e.g. Rubber Boas and some Sand Boas).
In some Viperids, the female is larger, in others, the male is.
