:I have a rather large snake cage, with a albino burmese python. She's been in this cage for a year and a half, and now out of no where she's rubbing her nose against the metal cage. I've been looking at some different alternatives to cover the cage from her, and I haven't been able to come up with a cost effective way and without having to destroy the whole cage. Here's a image of the cage, any idea's would be appriciated.
:I've already thought of Plexiglass, and it's to expensive.
Not trying to be rude but why dont you spend about $60 and buy some plywood and build a decent cage for that burm. How do you keep the heat and humidity in a wire cage? There is no other quick fix to a screen cage except to either cover the screen on the inside or replace it with plexi or plywood.Thats a nice size cage and a nice albino. My solution (if it was mine) would be to lay it long ways and fix the screen with plywood or plexi and then your burm will have more room to move. Also it would be able to get the desired heat and humidity it needs to keep from going to the vet.Like i said not trying to be rude just giving advice on what i see.
