I purchased a black mexican king snake baby about 2 months ago, whenever I pick him up he urinates on me and a pink nub, qutie large for his size pops out of his tail, and sits out for about a minute. His tail is a 90 degree angle at the end when he does this.
The only thing I can think, is that I now have my first male snake, and that he's well endowed for such a youngster.
Should I have any concern about it sticking out for so long while i hold him? I dare not put him back in his calcium substrate while it's like that.
Is this normal behaviour for male snakes?
My other snakes, must be females, for I've never encountered this with either of them.
Thanks...
Gory
