Im no expert but I would say look into childrens and spoted python´s, I know you like colubrids but these are very docile snakes, also the rubber boa and rosy boa are great choices, the rubber isnt that aesthetically appealing but its very docile since thats what I think youre looking for. From colubrids try a western hognose, they are the cutest little things.
