: I really would'nt worry too much about the humidity or for that matter the lighting unless your using it as aheat source-colombos dont really require humidity as much as your aboreals, heck I use to live in the dry heat of phoenix with much less than 50%humidity and really hardly ever if ever had any problems with colombians and humidity-I just made sure they had a reasonable size water bowl to soak with fresh water, about those fogger deals Ive heard some can hurt a snake -good luck!I recently purchased a baby columbian boa. What is the best way to keep the humidity high enough for her. My current set up is a 20 gal tank, an under tank heater, a 75 watt bulb, aspen shavings, and a water bowl. My current humidity is about 50 %, before misting.
:I've seen the fogger machines, anyone ever tries those? Do they work, what are the pros/cons?
:I've also seen a humidity device, for which a tube thing is put in the tank, then you hook a fish air pump up to it. Anyone try this device?
:Or, is misting the easiest, most effective way?
