I can't say for sure about the UVB, but I do know that they are really dark. I have one that I use for temp housing when I am cleaning cages. If you havn't set it up yet or next time you clean it, put your head in it and look out and around the room. I know this sounds weird but someone suggested it to me and it really gives you a good idea as to what your lizard is seeing. If the room you are in isn't very bright, you won't see very much. This however is just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

:I've heard that the Apogee Reptariums block UVB if the light fixture is set directly on top of the cage. It is mesh, why won't it allow the UVB to come through, or have I been given bad information. HELP! I wouldn't want my baby beardies to perish because they weren't getting enough UVB.
