first, the iquana shouldn't be eating mice if that is what it indeed is eating. having a nine yr old green iguana myself i think it shoul be larger than 2 feet at 2 yrs of age..probably should be closer to 3 feet or larger. the sav should definately be larger. i housed a sav for a friend a yr ago. it went from 9 inches long to over 2 feet in a matter of 4 months. cage size, diet, and heat are all important factors for growth. so maybe the care isn't as good as it could be
