hi, i would use reptile chips for substrate, put a bunch of logs and other non-pine type wood into a tank, a good sturdy waterdish some uv light and a corner basking spot. since it is a temerate species, be careful about too hot of a temp. offer a few gutloaded crix, and just enjoy,
