Usually you can treat him and save him. I use original listerin to clean the mouthrot, and then I put a little bit of polysporin on it to keep it from getting infected. I use the antibacterial polysporin with the added vitamin E to help healing, I really found it to make the mouthrot go away faster. If your reptile has a bad case of mouthrot, you may need stronger medecine given by a vet.
