As far as I've heard they get about 4 feet. They are in the Tegu family. Since they are basically all wild caught, I wouldn't bet on them being tame. Prehistoric pets has/had some for sale that were eating rodents. In the wild they apparently eat a lot of shellfish. I'm going to have one someday, though, as soon as I can afford it and build a nice enclosure! In the meantime, there's a houseplant of the same name (Dracaena), so I'm sticking with that.
