Plated Lizard versus Desert Iguana

I have a Sudan Plated lizard and was thinking of getting another lizard. I have an empty 40"x18"x18" viv and i am torn between another sudan and a desert ig. could someone give me the pros and cons of each one, and tell me if they can be kept together? thanks
