I've spoken with many Ackie keepers and most feed either a variety of insects with crickets being a staple diet and sometimes chopping up pinkie/fuzzy mice in with their diet. :)
As for the rubbermaid tub...heck yeah. :) These guys usually don't exceed 2-2.5ft total body length. That's why most people love Ackies since they are a small species that has a somewhat simpler diet than the big boys. ;) I wish my C.Hunky (sav monitor) would only eat crickets. lol!
