VEry doubtful since any parasite in the animal has evolved specifically for reptiles and possibly even specifically for that family or genus. There are few parasites that can be transmitted. I haven't washed my hands in years (except if im defecated on) after holding any of my reptiles and I am fine. The real worry if there is one is salmonella but you can get that from your cat or dog. Just go get fecal done on him.

::Get a fecal exam done on him at your local vet. They should perscribe some antibiotics with directions on what to give.
