Hey everyone,
I was hoping you could help me with a simple question. I introduced my female P. m. grandis to a new male on April 15. The male made approached the female and danced around but I never was sure if they actually mated because I had to go to class. It seemed to me like they were probably going to. Anways, the other day she laid an egg and I was wondering if I should bother to incubate eggs that are laid this soon. The first egg didn't look very healthy and I left it in the terrarium...it has collapsed and is clearly not going to be developing any geckos any time soon. She just laid another, however, this one in the base of my sanseveria, and it looks much healthier. I am tempted to incubate it. Is it possible that eggs laid only 13 days after mating would be fertilized?
Thanks
Eliot
