......well, im now convinced that my gravid israeli dune gecko (stenodactylus petrii) is impacted with sand, because it was looking for extra calcium for its eggs.
1. Because i saw a few specks of sand in its mouth.
2. Its not moving much at all, just breathing
3. I can see dark spots in its underside
-I know they need sand to burrow and stuff, but should i take it out, and put paper towel for substrate?
-i need all the help i can get, so please post if you know how to treat impacted geckos....THX AGAIN
ps- i havnt seen any poo since i got it (yesterday), even though it ate 4 crickets......so, would a luke warm bath help its impaction?
