The things are completely docile. The only geckos that really bite are Tokay geckos and possibly Monarch geckos. The problem is, overall, with geckos, is that their skin can easily rip and their tails can drop if they are frightened/improperly handled. This makes them much harder to play with than beardeds and makes them more of a "looking pet". And even if youre carefull, small geckos can get very stressed out and stop eating (common in leaftail geckos). Hope this helps.
