i suggest phelsuma laticauda - gold dust day geckos. i have a pair and they're very easy to keep. they grow to about 3 to 5 inches which is about the smallest you could get day gecko wise. they dont need any special requirements, just provide a UV light and keep the humidity up be misting every day. i feed mine every 2/3 days with 2 week old crickets. i also give them baby food in a little dish. they seem to like apple and pear at the moment. so do the crickets! just one thing though..... they are very quick!

:i want to get a gecko...can any live in a 5.5, i also have an open 10 gallon...i really like day geckos because of the green...less keen on leos....what do you guys suggest? best personality gecko, smallest, easiest..
