They're handlable, but only if you're calm and cautious. They handle a lot like a nervous crested. I mostly worry about them dropping their tails, the male already has a regenerated one from before I got him. The one in the picture's not a runner, she's a biter! If you're doing something she doesn't like, she'll calmly chomp your finger and go about her business. She also likes to lick fingers, though, which is cute because she has a blue tongue. The male is a bit faster but it's still not a big issue. I don't handle them a lot because it does seem to stress them a bit.
