hiding gecko

I bought a pretty big piece of wood for my bearded dragon cage and saw a little face in a crevace in the wood. It is a 4-5 inch house gecko. It probably got out in the pet store and sought safety in the wood. I put a cricket in the crevace and he ate it. I did it again tonight and he readily ate the cricket again. I like having him there. Hopefully, beardeds don't eat him. He is a bit too big most likely.
